Middlesbrough have agreed a six-month loan deal for Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King.
King, 28, was at Boro's Rockliffe Park training ground on Thursday to complete the move after cutting short a season-long loan at Hull City.
The striker made 22 appearances for the Tigers, scoring five goals since arriving at the KC Stadium in August.
Meanwhile, Boro's Egyptian striker Mido is in talks with Wigan boss Steve Bruce over a loan move to the JJB Stadium.
Jamaica international King began his career with Barnet in 1998, before a switch to Gillingham in June 2000 saw him notch 40 league goals in 101 games.
His move to Nottingham Forest for £950,000 in November 2003 did not work out and after loan spells with Leeds and Watford he eventually joined the Hornets for £500,000.

His goals helped take the Hertfordshire club into the Premier League and following 24 goals in 60 league appearances the forward joined Wigan for £5m in January 2008, but made just 15 appearances, scoring once.
Egyptian international Mido joined Middlesbrough from Tottenham in August 2007 after an injury hit spell in the capital.
He has made 32 appearances for the Teessiders, scoring five goals.
